  18.      The application vvvviiiiddddeeeeooooppppaaaannnneeeellll provides an easy-to-use graphical interface to
  19.      control all the installed video hardware.  It allows you to set various
  20.      hardware parameters through various sliders, menus and pushbuttons in
  21.      panels sorted by function.  For example, all the common controls for
  22.      input signal control are presented in one pane of the main panel.

  24.      It connects to the video daemon on the default or named server and reads
  25.      the list of controls available.  It then groups these controls based on
  26.      whether they're considered professional or common, and presents the
  27.      common controls on a panel.
